YAY my first post that complies with the topic of this... blog... I don't like that word, blog...hmm. Anyway today in class, I am in high school, my teacher told us about one of her boyfriends from when she was in college. This boyfriend of hers was one of those "bad" people with a criminal record and such. She went out with him not only for her like of him, but also to try to change his life for the better. People talked about her as if she would be the guide to make his life better. Then she did one of her creepy smiles and told us that he ended up holding up someone and getting shot and killed. To that she responded by saying you can't shine shit. Which led me to think of that and led me to want to share my ideas with the world.
So the idea breaks down to you can't change a truly "evil" person. And I agree with that, there are people who once are evil, are always evil. But then people would respond that everyone can find salvation through repentance or whatever. I don't believe in that idea. They are the way they are because they chose to be and a simply sorry won't make them free of their crimes. Back to the idea of changing them being impossible is true, maybe not to everyone. Maybe there are people out there that can change. But then those people didn't have the mindset to not want to change as other's did or had feeling of what they did was wrong and relized it.
Tell me your thoughts.
